Four Elks is a canadian-based apparel and accessories line owned by entrepreneur Lisa Dawson. What started as a hunt to construct clothes that were fit for her outdoor adventures, has now turned into an outdoor Canadian lifestyle brand. By combining a love for being outdoors in the wildlife & country music festivals with the idea of comfort, fashion and creativity in mind, Dawson’s passion has given shape to a brand truly made for the inner cowboy and cowgirl!

Sew Easy Academy is a London based sewing education company that uses the art of sewing to build life skills, confidence, and fosters creativity.  With a diploma in Fashion Design, Cassie shares her design principles and passion for learning through individualized project-based programs for children, adults and groups. 

Pierogi Queen is a London based food truck business founded and operated by Sylvia Zietek. Being a free spirited, world traveller who never likes to stay in the same place for too long, Sylvia decided that putting her passion on wheels was the perfect fit! The menu offers an exciting array of flavour-filled pierogis including her grandmother’s potato and cheddar recipe, breaded mac and cheese, jalapeno and cheddar, spinach and feta with tzatziki and the taco pierogi with lettuce, tomato and cheese! 

Ryan Kelly is the Founder and CEO of Ascend Applications and a graduate of Fanshawe College’s Computer Programmer Analyst Program. He was inspired to design the “AccessAbility” app after observing the challenges his friend faced while trying to purchase a new wheelchair online. AccessAbility was built to foster inclusivity for internet users with disabilities through ensuring that websites become more accessible and compliant with the ‘Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act’ or AODA. 

Alex Leonard is an artist that combines multiple interests in his life to motivate his work across various media. Alex has 5 years experience in designing murals, creating videos, exhibiting artwork, and marketing online content. 

The Fritter Shop is a food company that specializes in traditional Dutch desserts, particularly the famous apple fritter. The Fritter Shop offers a unique catering experience: from hand making the fritter from fresh and local ingredients to hospitality services that include catering corporate events - Kelvin’s Fritter Shop’s passion and effort is shaped into every single one of their fritters. The fritter shop also supports local farmers and the community, and offers a wide range of flavours, along with wheat-free, dairy-free, peanut-free vegan/vegetarian friendly options alongside the classic recipe.

Maria Denomme Photography is a Love + Lifestyle photography business based in the London area. Creating images with the use of natural lighting and a candid approach, Maria focuses on capturing special moments and providing high quality imagery for Couples, Weddings and Families. 

Nicole Snobelen is the Founder of Evelynn by Nicole Snobelen and is also a Graduate of Fanshawe College’s Fashion Design Program. Nicole designs and creates one of a kind clothing pieces and allocates a portion of her sales to her program call The Abby Fund. Through this program, Nicole and her team are able to impact the lives of children suffering from an illness or disability by bringing their dream dresses and superhero capes to life.

Erin started Briggsy Brand in the summer of 2015 after being accepted into the Summer Company Program. The idea came to her due to her love of sewing, and my friends and families constant interest in what she had created. She loves fashion and loves how it’s a way for people to express themselves and how the same item can look so different on each individual. She want to be able to make items that are fashionable, useful and affordable at the same time.

Tyler Bryden is an entrepreneur, a proud Western University and Fanshawe College Alumni, a founding tenant of Innovation Works, and a highly-engaged community advocate. Tyler is well-known for his expertise in marketing, user experience, and analytics. Tyler has helped hundreds of businesses and organizations grow during his time as the owner of SixFive and as a facilitator for Corporate Training Solutions at Fanshawe College. Tyler is also developing a new software application named Speak that uses artificial intelligence to analyze audio, video, and text to help users better understand their communication.
